Hi Dirk, I wish I had known about your tutorials years ago when I started out in flower photography. They are definitely very helpful and easy to understand for beginners. For me, there was one important point that I took away with me, and that is natural backgrounds without being too cluttered. I finally understood how to achieve that dreamy look. Last weekend, I sat down with lots of black-eyed Rudbeckia and searched the area until I found a beautiful background that matched the foreground. That was my “aha” moment. I haven't edited the photos yet.


That's when I realized that I was taking photos just for the sake of taking photos. I wasn't using my head. Now I understand, thanks to your instructions, thank you very much! Your lessons get straight to the point.
